Household Tasks

NDIS household tasks support in Adelaide

A manageable home is the foundation everything else stands on.

Household Tasks is NDIS funding for help with domestic work you can't manage on your own because of your disability — cleaning, laundry, dishes, changing linen, shopping, and keeping the yard under control.

Practical support, funded under Core Supports. Complete Choice provides it across Adelaide within 100km of the CBD, as a regular visit or alongside your other supports.

What’s included

Cleaning and tidying · laundry, ironing and linen · dishes and kitchen upkeep · grocery shopping, with you or for you · meal preparation · rubbish and recycling · basic yard and outdoor upkeep · seasonal deep cleans.

Done for you, or learned by you

Two supports get confused here, and they’re funded differently. Household Tasks pays for someone to do the job — Core Supports. Development of Daily Living and Life Skills pays for someone to teach you to do it, then step back — Capacity Building. Plenty of people hold both: someone doing the heavy cleaning while you build up to managing your own laundry and cooking. Not sure which you have? We’ll read your plan with you. How it works

Weekly or fortnightly visits. Same worker wherever possible, so you’re not explaining your house every time. You supply products and equipment — tell us if that’s a barrier and we’ll sort something. Not home? Access is agreed in writing first.

How it starts

  1. Call us.

08 7009 4462. Tell us what you need — or what you're not sure about. Working that out is a normal first conversation.

  2. Plan it together.

We look at your plan and your funding, meet you, and agree what support looks like — in writing, before anything starts.

  3. Support begins.

With review dates built in, so it keeps fitting as your life changes.
