Assistance with Accommodation and Tenancy Obligations
Accommodation and tenancy assistance in Adelaide
Finding a home is hard. Keeping it shouldn't be.
Accommodation and tenancy assistance is NDIS funding to help you find a place to live and keep it — applications and inspections, understanding what your lease requires, dealing with the agent, and sorting problems before they become a notice.
It's the support that keeps a tenancy from falling over. Complete Choice provides it across Adelaide within 100km of the CBD.
Finding a place
Searching listings and working out what’s realistic. Preparing an application that presents you well. Coming to inspections with you. Reading the lease with you before you sign, so you know what you’re committing to. Organising bond, connections, and the practical parts of moving in.
Keeping it
Your obligations, in plain language — including the parts people miss.
Dealing with the agent or landlord. Reporting repairs properly and chasing them. Preparing for inspections. Being in the room for conversations you’d rather not have alone.
Staying on top of it. Rent and bills on time; the property kept to the standard the lease requires; neighbour issues handled before they grow.
When something goes wrong. Breach notices and threatened eviction are far easier to fix early. If you’ve received something in writing that worries you, bring it to us before the response date, not after.
What this isn’t
We don’t provide the housing under this support, and we’re not a real estate agent — we work alongside your landlord or agent, not in place of them. We’re not a legal service either; where a dispute needs formal representation, we’ll help you reach the right place. Looking for supported accommodation rather than help with a tenancy? That’s SIL. Questions people ask

Help finding a home and help keeping it — applications, inspections, your lease in plain language, the agent, and problems before they become formal.
Which funding category pays for it?
Core Supports, under Assistance with Accommodation and Tenancy Obligations.
Can you help me find a rental?
Yes — searching, applying, inspections, and understanding what you're signing.
Can you help with a breach notice?
Yes, and sooner is far better. Bring it before the response date. Where it needs legal representation, we'll help you find it.
Do you provide the housing?
Not under this support. For supported accommodation, see Supported Independent Living.
Can I get this alongside other supports?
Yes — it sits beside personal care, household tasks and community participation without affecting them.
