About Magill

Magill is in Adelaide’s east, about 7km from the CBD, and it straddles two council areas — the City of Burnside and the City of Campbelltown. It’s an established suburb; the house itself was built in 1960, on a block of 614 square metres.

What’s within reach matters more than the postcode. The Magill Village shops are about 200 metres from the home. The nearest bus stop, on Magill Road at Arthur Street, is about a kilometre away. Nearby too are Magill Primary School, Norwood International High School, the UniSA Magill campus, the Magill Estate winery, a pool and walking trails.

That’s the difference between a week with a shape to it and a week where every outing needs a lift.

Getting there

From the city, Magill is about 20 minutes by car — roughly 9km, along Magill Road or Kensington Road. Buses connect Magill with the city too, and the nearest stop to the home is on Magill Road at Arthur Street, about a kilometre away. The exact address is given when you book a viewing, with directions to the door.

The Colton Avenue home

It’s a four-bedroom home with two bathrooms and parking for four cars. Beyond the main house there’s a separate granny flat and studio rooms, which gives people space of their own without leaving the household.

Inside, the floors are polished timber and the kitchen faces north. Out the back is a large garden with a covered outdoor entertaining area.

The bathroom is accessible, and there’s a wheelchair-friendly ramp at the entry. Ask us for any measurement you need — we’d rather measure a doorway than guess one.

Visiting

You see the house and meet the people who live there before anyone decides, and the housemates have a say too. The exact address is given when you book a viewing. Call 08 7009 4462 to arrange one.
